After-Meth or “Shattered Lives”

This documentary film about the meth problems in rural North Dakota was created by Roos, and originally produced by parent company “Comm-Corps” with Chad Spokely as editor, and in conjunction with Minot State University’s Rural Crime and Justice Center, with a grant assisted by ND Senator, Byron Dorgan. The goal of the project was to fully document on camera the price of meth on a person’s life, while also demonstrating some of the efforts made in education and public awareness of the problems.

The piece was shown at the Fargo Film Festival in 2005Roos Media oversaw production of this project in every aspect of the film.

Indian Pride is a documentary series for PBS, produced by Prairie Public (Broadcasting) that shows the light and legacy passed down by the Indian peoples of our country.  The series also gives snippets of life among our modern-day tribes.

From project management, field production, to script consulting and in-studio shooting and coordinating, Kirk Roos personally worked on this film, as a lateral affiliation, rather than directly through Roos Media, however many of the same duties were performed.
