Roos Media Group is a dba of Communication Corps, Inc, and in one way or another, represents a collection of works in the business of creative media production for 15 years. Founded by Kirk Roos, RMG is a product of 2 other brand names, including RMG’s parent company “Comm-Corps,” (www.comm-corps.com) and “40 Below Productions,” a small firm Roos originally started in the 1990’s producing small independent films, shorts, and stage shows. RMG has enjoyed a wide variety of film and TV projects as well as exciting public events ranging from live event management, professional sports marketing, to fundraisers and public opinion surveys and study’s, plus a variety of tourism and arts events.
The majority of RMG’s work has been in production, and as we look into the future, we strive to become one of the leading producer’s in the Midwest, with a focus on bringing quality productions to the level they deserve by doing as our often professed motto suggests “bridging the gap…”

Kirk Roos – Filmmaker, Business Owner
A native North Dakotan, Kirk Roos has worked in entertainment for 15 years, five of those in Los Angeles, CA, the rest scattered from the Midwest to D.C., Louisville, KY to Iraq. From acting in films and stage, to producing for PBS and cable TV, to media consulting for businesses, Roos has enjoyed his diverse range of opportunities. Kirk’s recent producing credits include feature comedy film (Currently untiled) with Chris Pontius (of Jack Ass fame), directed by Penelope Spheeris (Wayne’s World), which will be released in 2010, plus an independent romantic comedy feature entitled The Life of Riley (with Jason Page and Jessica Manuel), directed by Carrie Boberg (www.4trackfilms.com). His two current documentaries are “Timber: Dead and Down” (Prairie Public, PBS), which covers the history of Logging in N. Minnesota, and his own heart-n-soul piece,
American Herro (PBS and NETFLIX), which recently premiered at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., featuring U.S. Diplomat, Herro Mustafa, Senior Advisor to Vice President, Joe Biden.
Kirk’s company, Roos Media Group is currently developing three projects including a feature film about Old Timer’s Hockey, Stan’s Cup, with John Rice (Windtalkers, Blown Away) and Michael Birnbaum (John Tucker Must Die, Bandits), plus a comedy entitled “Old Arizona” and an eco-history series “Lakes and Legacy” for PBS based on his “Timber” documentary.
Roos has been an active member of many non-profits and has worked with arts and civic groups such as; ND Film Commission, Art Space USA, National Exchange Club, Fargo Film Festival, Junior Achievement, and multiple Theatre Groups, Tourism groups, and Historical Societies.
